Day 3 at Camp Oz was full of activities! From swimming to testing our aim to working together in the Enchanted Forest, campers packed every moment of the day with fun, adventure, and plenty of laughter. Even with Mother Nature shaking up the schedule, it became the kind of night that brought everyone closer together.

Beachside Memories

Some groups kicked off with a camper favorite- a trip to the beach! The waterfront was buzzing with excitement as campers swam, played games, and enjoyed spending time with friends under the summer sky. Whether they were racing through the water, relaxing along the shore, or burying their legs in the sand, the beach was the perfect place to cool off and make memories.

Confidence Takes Aim

Next up, campers headed to archery and axe throwing, where concentration and confidence were on full display. There were plenty of cheers as arrows found their targets and axes stuck with satisfying thuds. Campers challenged themselves, celebrated personal victories, and encouraged one another every step of the way. It’s amazing to see how quickly skills grow when surrounded by supportive friends and staff!

Building Teams Beneath the Trees

Another highlight of the day was team building in the Enchanted Forest. Tucked beneath the trees, campers took on challenges that required communication, creativity, and cooperation. From solving problems together to encouraging teammates through each activity, campers showed what Camp Oz is all about- supporting one another, trying new things, and having fun while doing it. The forest echoed with laughter as teams worked together and discovered that sometimes the best victories come from helping others succeed.

As evening arrived, Mother Nature had a surprise in store. Heavy rain rolled through camp, sending everyone indoors and forcing a change of plans. But if there’s one thing Camp Oz campers know how to do, it’s make the best of any situation!

The rainy weather led to an all-camp game night, followed by a movie, and it quickly became the perfect ending to an incredible day. Campers and staff filled the space with energy as they competed in games, shared laughs, and enjoyed time together. The sound of rain outside couldn’t compete with the excitement and cheers happening indoors. What started as a weather-related change turned into one of the most memorable parts of the day.

From beach adventures and bullseyes to teamwork in the woods and an unforgettable game night, Day 3 was filled with moments that reminded us why Camp Oz is such a special place. Every day brings new opportunities to connect, grow, and create memories that will last long after camp ends- and we can’t wait for more on Day 4
