Another perfect summer day greeted campers at Camp Oz as blue skies, sunshine, and comfortable temperatures set the stage for a day full of adventure, friendship, and fun.
A Day of Adventure
Throughout the day, campers enjoyed some of Camp Oz’s most beloved activities.
The archery range was buzzing with excitement as campers practiced their aim, celebrated bullseyes, and encouraged one another with every shot.
At the horse barn, campers had the opportunity to meet and ride the camp horses, building confidence and creating special memories.
The climbing wall challenged campers to reach new heights! Whether they were experienced climbers or trying it for the first time, campers demonstrated determination, resilience, and teamwork as they tackled the walls and cheered on their cabinmates from below.
Sunshine, Friendship, and Camp Memories
The gorgeous weather allowed campers to fully enjoy all that camp has to offer, with plenty of time spent outdoors soaking up the sunshine and making memories with friends old and new.
As the day came to a close, our oldest cabin groups were treated to a special evening beach cookout. With the lake as a backdrop and the sun setting over the water, campers shared a meal, laughed together, and enjoyed a memorable evening celebrating the friendships they have built during their time at Camp Oz.
From archery and horseback riding to climbing adventures and lakeside traditions, Day 2 was filled with moments of growth, connection, and joy. We can’t wait to see what Day 3 has in store!
