Special Event – Living Well with Epilepsy: Medical & Advocate Insights

EFMN and UCB invite you to an evening of discussion on self-care and self-advocacy, from both a medical and a life perspective. Dr. Sima I. Patel, MD from U of M Health MINCEP Epilepsy Care will be giving a presentation on epilepsy complete with Q&A time with audience members. Advocate Loretta Boileau will be discussing her experience as a person with epilepsy herself and also as a mother of children with seizures. EFMN staff Tammy Sammon (Adult and Arts Program Manager) and Erik Williams (Youth & Family Program Coordinator) will be hosting and speaking about resources and events within the Twin Cities epilepsy community. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.
