Peer Led Grand Rapids Area Community Epilepsy Awareness Group

April 9 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Anyone personally impacted by epilepsy or interested in learning more about epilepsy is welcome to join us for a monthly opportunity to connect with others who can relate to your experiences. The meetings start with a light dinner followed by a time of connecting while enjoying activties such as playing pool, fuse ball, Legos, board games, and more.   This is a safe space to know that you are not alone in your journey with epilepsy.

Grand Rapids Area Community Epilepsy Awareness Group Peer-Led Connect Group 04/09/2026

This online Connect Group is peer-led, meaning that it is facilitated and guided by individuals who have shared similar experiences, rather than by EFMN staff. The group offers a space for members to connect, share, and support each other through mutual understanding and empathy.

Should a seizure or other medical situation arise for you during the group time, we need to have access to an emergency contact, and your physical location address. This information is not shared outside of EFMN staff unless they need to contact EMS services to respond to your home to provide medical care.
