Every pickup strengthens the community we serve across Minnesota.
In April, the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota returned to the Minnesota State Capitol for our first in-person Day at the Capitol since 2019. Advocates from across the state joined EFMN staff and volunteers to share their experiences with legislators, helping deepen understanding of how epilepsy and seizures shape daily life for Minnesotans. For many, it was more than a return to the Capitol. It was a return to connection, shared purpose, and the power of showing up together.
Medications control seizures for many people with epilepsy, but some continue to have seizures despite trying multiple treatments. In this Clinician’s Corner, learn how advances in epilepsy surgery are providing safer, more effective treatment options.
It's more common than you think: 1 in 10 people will have a seizure, and 1 in 26 will develop epilepsy. Learn more about how we are helping people with epilepsy reach their full potential.
