The Epilepsy Foundation’s Epilepsy & Seizures Wellness Expo takes place annually November as part of the national Epilepsy Awareness Month.
We recognize that getting access to epilepsy resources and information outside of a doctor’s office can be challenging. The Expo is designed to connect members of the epilepsy community with doctors, medical experts, researchers, and pharmaceutical developers so you can be in the know about medications, treatment options, and the latest breakthroughs in research and new therapies.
It’s also an opportunity to learn more about the programs and services we offer, and to get advice and resources on day-to-day topics like how to navigate transportation, tips on getting enough sleep, how to create a seizure plan, and more.
The expo is just $10 for individuals or $20 for the whole family. Need-based financial assistance also readily available.
It can be hard to know where to turn for resources; talk with dozens of experts in the field of epilepsy!
Whether it’s medical cannabis, VNS Therapy®, new medications, or more — learn about cutting-edge treatments aimed at seizure control.
Kids are welcome at the expo and can keep busy with art projects, a juggler, a balloon artist, and a scavenger hunt!
