DESCRIPTION:The National Psoriasis Foundation\, the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society are pleased to invite you to join a free\, educational webinar on step therapy patient protections in Minnesota. \nMore information about step therapy can be found here. \nIn 2018\, the Minnesota legislature passed and enacted patient protections for the practice of step therapy in direct response to patient advocacy requests. These protections\, effective as of January 2019\, offer patients and physicians a clear process to obtain a step therapy protocol exception. The webinar will provide a synopsis of those protections\, what to expect as a patient and provider and guidance on how they can be best utilized. \nAccreditation Statement: NPF is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. \nCredit: NPF designates this live activity for a maximum of .5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Pizza Ranch will be providing part of our meal\, and shelter is located near Destination Playground\, a one-of-a-kind\, 19\,000 square foot\, community built playground. that  is fully accessible making it easier for individuals with disabilities to play.  Rubberized surfaces help prevent injuries. Inside this playground you will find areas geared for specific age groups with fun themes like a Barn and Castles.
