SUMMARY:Seizure Smart Training: Anoka-Hennepin Schools Community Education
DESCRIPTION:One in 10 people will have a seizure of some type in their lifetime\, and one in 26 will develop epilepsy. Knowing how to properly respond to a seizure could be lifesaving. This course will go over how to identify seizures\, respond to someone having a seizure\, and overcoming the myths and misconceptions surrounding seizures and epilepsy. The instructor is the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota’s Senior Coordinator of Education. \n\n\nThis is a free class\, but pre-registration is required.
