DESCRIPTION:The annual Shining Stars event at Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America is an opportunity for families from across the state to come and meet others who have a child with epilepsy/seizures. Enjoy interactive activity stations including photo booth\, art projects\, STEM activities\, games\, food and Nickelodeon characters\, followed by an afternoon of rides and fun. This event is specifically for Shining Stars (youth with epilepsy) and their family. However\, becoming a Shining Star is easy and free for those who want to join\, simply fill out this form here. EFMN is committed to ensuring that financial barriers do not get in the way of celebrating all Shining Stars. DESCRIPTION: Join art therapist leaders at the Adler Graduate School Open Art Studio for bi-weekly sessions of creative expression and social engagement through art. Individuals living with epilepsy ages 12 and up can focus on their own artwork or follow guided projects using different art mediums each session. Family members over 12 are welcome to participate as well. No creative skills are required.\n\nCreative Arts Dates: October 11th\, October 25th\, November 8th\, November 22nd\, December 6th\, January 17th\, January 31st\, February 14th\, February 28th\, March 14th.
