Kids’ EEG Exploration Night hosted by MN Epilepsy Group

MN Epilepsy Group is having a party July 23, 2026 from 5p-7p for you and your friends to come and explore everything EEG! Come experience the different parts to an EEG:

• Foam In, Foam Out: First, make your hands sparkly clean with lots of foamy bubbles- just like our EEG Team does! Then reach into the mystery box and use only your sense of touch to discover what’s hiding inside. Is it squishy, smooth, bumpy or fuzzy? When you’re done, don’t forget to foam out before your next adventure! Remember- Health hands, happy brains!
• EEG in Progress: Ever wonder what an EEG looks like while it’s happening? Step into our EEG room and watch a real EEG in action! Our technologists will show you some amazing brain waves and explain what makes them so special.
• Sticker & Learn: There will be coloring pages, beading and a sticker matching activity for you to become an EEG helper and place “electrodes” on a head that’s not your own!
• Connect, Laugh and Learn: Take a break for tasty snacks, meet our friendly team and enjoy a behind the scenes look at where the EEG magic happens.

We know how hard it is to try to explain what this test is to people who don’t have to get them, so you are welcome to bring as many friends and family members as you would like so you can share this part of your life with them and everyone can get all their questions answered. We’re so excited to see you there!! Make sure you register in advance, so we know how many snacks to bring. Forgot to sign up? You’re still welcome to come the party!
