EFMN Aquarium & Bentleyville Event

Individuals and families impacted by epilepsy are invited to join EFMN for an evening at the Great Lakes Aquarium and Bentleyville. Arrive anytime after 2:00 PM to explore the exhibits, enjoy dinner served in staggered seating times beginning at 2:00 PM, watch the Bentleyville lights turn on at 5:00 PM, and visit Bentleyville at your own pace.
This event is for people with epilepsy and their immediate family, friends, and support persons. To help us accommodate as many families as possible, please limit registration to your immediate household and primary support people. Groups of 8 or more should contact Lisa Peterson before registering.
Event Capacity & Waitlist
Advance registration is required, and space is limited. Once capacity is reached, additional registrants will be placed on a waiting list. If your plans change, please notify EFMN as soon as possible so your spot can be offered to someone on the waitlist.
Food Information
EFMN will provide Subway sandwiches (including a vegetarian option), chips, cookies, and water.
Please note: Great Lakes Aquarium is a peanut-free facility. Guests with dietary restrictions are welcome to bring their own food.
Travel Assistance

Because epilepsy affects everyone differently, please consider any known seizure triggers or sensitivities, including photosensitivity and holiday lights, when planning your visit.

Hotel Information
- Reservations must be made by October 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM (Noon).
- Room charges and taxes are the responsibility of the guest.
- Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before arrival to avoid charges.
Parking Information
Parking at Great Lakes Aquarium is managed by Interstate Parking.
- Up to 5 hours: $10
- Up to 8 hours: $15
- Up to 24 hours: $20
- Great Lakes Aquarium members park free
