This gathering offers a supportive space to learn about the legislative process, build confidence in meeting with lawmakers, and help elevate the lived experiences of individuals and families affected by epilepsy.
Participants will meet at the Capitol to connect with Minnesota legislators, share personal stories, and advocate for policies that improve access to care, support services, and overall quality of life. Through guided conversations and shared experiences, attendees will help lawmakers better understand the real-world impact of epilepsy in Minnesota communities.
The event will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 12:30 PM- 4:30 PM, and is open to individuals with epilepsy, caregivers, loved ones, and supporters of the epilepsy community. Everyone is welcome—no advocacy experience is needed. EFMN will provide resources, talking points, and support to help all participants feel prepared and confident.
