Volunteer Opportunities
Help others - help yourself. There's nothing more empowering than being active and getting involved. The Epilepsy Foundation has several opportunities for volunteers to make a difference in the lives of the 60,000 Minnesotans with epilepsy.

Camp Oz Volunteer
Camp Oz volunteers help ensure that all campers have a fun experience, make friends and learn new skills. Many different duties are available. |

Family Fun Event Volunteer
Key leaders, agencies, medical centers, parents and others affected by epilepsy across the state of Minnesota are needed to assist in planning and organizing local family events that will help connect those affected by epilepsy.

Regional Advisory Committee Member
Key leaders, agencies, medical centers and businesses communities across the state of Minnesota are needed to assist in making fund raising connections, providing feedback on local special events and other programs for the epilepsy community, evaluating the local services offered and taking a key role in the annual Stroll for Epilepsy event. |

Community Educator
Provide epilepsy education to businesses, agencies and community groups across the state of Minnesota. |

Gala Committee Member
Assist in the planning of an annual fundraising event that includes dinner, entertainment, live & silent auctions, program and raffle. |
|
Silent Auction Committee Member
Assist in the silent and live auctions by securing and packaging items, setting up the auction and providing input to the check-out procedures.

|
Classroom Educator
Provide epilepsy education across the state of Minnesota to students to raise awareness about epilepsy, seizure first aid, and equality for people with disabilities. |
|
Office Assistant
Assist in the St. Paul office with mailings, and other small office projects.
|
|
State Fair Booth Volunteer
Provide information about the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota’s programs and services and epilepsy to the general public during the State Fair.

Stroll for Epilepsy Event Committee Member
Be a part of the planning and organizing of this fun, family orientated fundraising event that raises awareness about epilepsy and the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota’s programs and services. |
|
Support Group Facilitator
Key leaders and others affected by epilepsy are needed to facilitate a group for adults with epilepsy that promotes group interaction and to plan topics and speakers for meetings.
