Public Policy

Our Efforts

Each year, the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota (EFMN) organizes an Epilepsy Awareness Day at the Capitol to empower people affected by seizures by bringing essential information and stories about epilepsy to our Minnesota state senators and representatives.

EFMN works cooperatively with the Coalition for Children with Disabilities and the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities to align priorities and policies with disability rights groups in Minnesota and North Dakota.

The Foundation supports federal public policy and is a member of the Epilepsy Foundation's "Speak Up Speak Out" Campaign.

The 2012 Epilepsy Awareness Day at the Capitol is on Thursday, February 23, 2012.
